Privacy & device storage

This notice describes the information and browser/device storage used by the current Helmivo trial service. It will continue to be reviewed as the product develops and before wider commercial release.

Information we use

Helmivo uses verified email identity, account profile details, organisation and event information entered by authorised users, operational records created in the portal, device notification subscriptions and seller-authorised Square reporting data when a client chooses to connect Square.

Cookies and device storage

The public Helmivo website currently does not use advertising cookies, marketing cookies or usage-analytics cookies. The protected Helmivo portal does use necessary authentication and browser/device storage so that secure sign-in, account separation, portal continuity, preferences, update safety, offline/PWA behaviour and notifications you choose to enable can work properly.

Where browser storage is used, it is for the operation and resilience of the Helmivo service rather than for advertising or cross-site profiling.

Anonymous usage analytics

Not currently enabled

Helmivo plans to introduce privacy-conscious analytics so we can understand whether pages and features are being used, where people encounter friction and where performance needs attention. Analytics are not enabled on this website build.

We have prepared a device-level preference now so that future analytics code can check it before loading. If the technology or purpose changes, we will review the privacy controls and update this notice before relying on them.

Allow anonymous usage analytics This preference is saved in this browser. It does not enable analytics today because analytics collection is currently switched off.

Square

Square passwords are entered only on Square’s own authorisation pages. Helmivo receives seller-authorised OAuth credentials and reporting data for the permissions approved by the seller.

Purpose

Information is used to provide the Helmivo workspace, keep organisations separated, synchronise data across authorised devices, send requested operational notifications, support the client account and protect the reliability and security of the service.

Service providers

Helmivo uses third-party infrastructure and service providers where needed to operate the service, including Cloudflare for website/portal infrastructure and security, and Square where a client chooses to connect its seller account.
